Cockerel Bird | Art Print

‘A digital print featuring my linocut of our handsome Leg-Horn Cockerel. When I carved this image I tried to convey the patterns and textures of feathers, when mixing my inks I wanted to illustrate the array of greys and blues.

People who like my work love wildlife, nature, birds, animals, countryside, country walks, bird watching, hill walking, the great outdoors. This would work well in a set of framed prints with a farmyard theme: ‘Brown Hen with Chick’ and ‘Gloucester Old Spot’. Perfect for a kitchen or a holiday cottage, a gift idea for a new home. In my making process I carve the design out of linoleum or Japanese vinyl, roll it up with ink and hand print it. ‘

This digital version is printed on 140gm textured paper and mounted in off-white card. It is a signed open edition print. Overall size including mount 25.5 x 25.5cm, cello wrapped for protection. '
